I Just Haven't Met You Yet

Finished the Launchpad piece I put up the sketch for last month! Since I didn't put TOO much effort into the colouring, it didn't take me that long

So this is based off of the Michael Buble song, "Haven't Met You Yet" - if you live in the US and you're not under a rock, you've heard this song. [link] It's not PRECISELY my style of music, but I do love this song despite how overplayed it is. I've been wanting to do something with it for a long time and in August I had this idea.

Why LP no have girlfriend!? (Well yes, there are theories, but let's put those aside ) I like to think the guy would love to have a family of his own, and looks forward to meeting the right girl... he just hasn't met her yet. So here is the abstract personification of the girl he hasn't met!

Now, if you want it to, this can tie into my Webfoot Chronicle fics. I sorta like to think this can be a standalone pic though. But, in the first few fics Launchpad spends a while ruminating on how long he's been single and how it might be time to put an end to that; and well, perhaps this featureless dream-girl here might *somewhat* share a few common characteristics with an OC of mine. If you look hard. (More obvious are the ones she does NOT share, lol.) This would be taking place approximately towards the beginning of TWC3, "Forever Young", if you were to count it as fanart for that. I don't, officially, but like I said it can tie in if you want it to. ^_^

Btw I really enjoyed doing the background for this, which was last-minute and ridiculously simple.
